Ouzeri in Montreal

Amazing food, great prices, friendly staff, great service and all in a unpretentious spacious setting. Was my first time and will definitely go back. Also space is available for private gatherings and celebrations. Thank you Ouzeri team for a great first experience... fyi i shared grilled calamari (aahhhmazing) and lamb brochette with a side of grilled vegetables and a nice greek bottle of red.

We tried this place via Doordash so I won't review the atmosphere or service. They have some interesting dishes on paper which we were keen to try. We ordered a variety of dishes. Most dishes were not properly seasoned and a bit bland. The seafood was way overcooked. Not even close to the freshness and flavour you can find in Greece or even Greek food you can find in other European capitals. I would avoid, especially considering it's not on the cheap side.

Martini beef is amazing, the dorade was great as well. Marinated octopus was a miss for me. Service was ok. Good value

Great traditional food. The service was perfect. I really enjoyed the artichokes, the quail and the greek coffee.

Absolutely delicious... Had to eat the quail with my hands because it was too good.

My favorite Greek tapas restaurant. The place is almost always full and tables are kind of close to each other so it's not the most comfortable place but the food is definitely worth it. I don't usually eat lamb but their lamb chops are great and octopus is great too. Scallops, shrimps and other cold plates are all great as well. After several visits for different occasions, I find that the portions, food quality and prices are always above average at this place. If you want to go for casual dining for plates to share at reasonable price, this place is highly recommended.

Much better service this second time around. The tzatziki is out of this world, the 3 choix with pitas was unreal and the Mussaka was amazing!! Coming back everytime I'm in Montréal 🙌

Amazing food! The lamb feta was perfect, tender and flavorful; Lamb chops equally good! The hummus was delicious.

This place is amazing. The flavors will hit you after 2-3 bites. Prepare to spend money but totaly wort it. Must go in group and order several dishes so you can try them all.

Food was fantastic, excellent friendly service, very honest and knew the menu like the back of his hand! Good portion sizes. Definitely worth checking out.

Had chicken brochette with tomato rice. It was very tasty. Staffs were friendly. You may need a reservation depending on what time you would like to go.

Everytime I go back to Montreal, I try to go to Ouzeri. Simply the best Greek food I've ever had, consistently over ten years. Try the spanakopita, the feta lamb, the moussaka and the saganaki cheese flambé in ouzo. The staff is always very efficient and courteous. This is in my top three in Montreal.

Really good food in a relaxed ambiance. Both the grilled octopus and the martini beef were cooked to perfection. Maybe a bit on the spicy side, but anyways, great! Deserts were also nice, both the Baklava and the Greek yogurt. Service was perfect with very friendly staff and prices are reasonable.

Food is ok, but not even the best Greek food in the neighborhood. Service is great. The name of the restaurant is Ouzeri but they only have the cheapest, lowest quality ouzo you can buy from SAQ.

Sakanagi was great also prety paformance. We tried gullil lamb but the sauce was too salty...we couldn't eat all..Only thing disappointment.

Been here 3 times now, and would highly recommen it. Delicious and fresh food - feta lamb, grilled calamari and the orange salad are just a few of the dishes I would suggest. Reasonably priced. The drawback is the below average service, with slow and rude waitresses.

The food was decent, but not great. The seasoning was somehow unbalanced or not tasty enough for me, nothing really special. We tried the meze which is a mix of dippings and salads, but I felt like all the ingredients weren't homemade which can be pity for a traditional Greek restaurant.The service was good tho and the atmosphere quite cosy.

Amazing food. Must try the cheese... I forgot the name of the cheese, but ask the waiter, he will for sure know what are you talking about. Try the melted cheese 😄😄

Excellent Greek Food

Was there in the first year the owner started the restaurant... was a recurrent client after that for many years... until I moved to TO... went back June 28, 2019, and although restaurant changed ownership in 2016 the food and service is still extremely good! Especially the calamari and lamb... Thank you... it was an enjoyable night!

super great food, service and atmosphere ~ must try

Ambiance is loud but good. Food is good but a little pricey. I got a "brochette de poulet" for $18.95. I thought it was a plate meaning that it is served with rice and salad or side veggies. It was not. It came on 3 little bites of cooked veggies and sauce. For $18.95 I was expecting more then a bowl with 5-6 pieces of chicken and 3 bites of veggies.

The lamb and rabbit pies are absolutely excellent, as is the asparagus in lemon sauce. Staff is friendly.

We met a group of friends here, in this generous space, to celebrate a birthday. The food was as good as the service. They gave us plenty of room in a relaxed atmosphere where we were able to change seats to meet new friends. That was a good pick!
